2025 BMW M2 Launched: The new generation of the BMW M2 has been released in the country and will set customers back by Rs. 1.03 crore ex-showroom. Following its international launch earlier this year the second-generation sports coupe has now been offered to the Indian market as a CBU like the previous model. In return for the Rs 5 lakh hike the M2 has gained 27 bhp, integrated cosmetic changes and new features added to the car.
BMW M2 Exclusive Exterior
As for the exterior changes on the 2025 M2, one can only speak about rather quite significant but still quite discrete alterations. The sports coupe remains as attractive and bold as ever with only trim updates like the new M2 black aluminium alloy wheels, boot intent, and the standard black M Active exhaust system. It further keeps staggered wheels – front 19 inch and rear 20 inch – and the customers get an opportunity to decide between a black or silver theme of the wheels. The M light-alloy wheels in a double-spoke design come with a diameter of 19 inches and in silver, there again under option.
BMW M2 Elegant Interior
Inside, the 2025 M2 boasts BMW’s new M steering wheel along with Operating System 8.5 for the car’s multimedia and digital gauge cluster. The packaging also includes 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9 inches BMW Curved Display in the center of the cabin. Further changes are elaborated redesigned air conditioning vents, red stitching on the standard sports seats and as an option, M Carbon bucket seats have been made released separately from the M Race Track package.
BMW M2 Dynamic Engine & Performance
The most significant change in the 2025 BMW M2 is the engine, a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six developing 473 bhp and 600 Nm of torque (550 Nm with manual) that brings it in line with the M3 and M4 cars. This has increased from the previous 446 bhp a sign that the company is improving its engine models. It’s allied to an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard and there’s a 6-speed manual available as an extra for those that like that sort of thing.
The M2 goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds when equipped with an automatic gearbox, and in 4.2 seconds if equipped with a manual. This results in the availability of the M Driver’s Package, with the top speed further electronically limited from 250 km/h to 285 km/h to retain the track fitness of the vehicle.
BMW M2 With Safety Features
The 2025 M2 includes six airbags, as well as, DSC, ABS, ASC, MDM, CBC, DBC, active M differential as its standard safety features.
BMW M2 With Paint & Upholstery Options
The new features of this updated M2 includes variety of colours: Alpine White, M Zandvoort Blue, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red, Portimao Blue, Sao Paulo Yellow, and Skyscraper Grey. Inside, decorations are joining Vernasca leather in black with a choice of blue or red stitching.
