The performance-centered i20 N Line also comes with a sunroof feature, but at a relatively higher cost in the specs range than the standard versions.
Hyundai Venue
Hyundai Venue, one of the most selling sub-four-meter SUVs in India, also ironically offers lots of features like other Hyundai products. The Venue comes with an electric sunroof from 1.2 Petrol E+ variant and costs around ₹8.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The sunroof is also present in the sportier Venue N Line trim that costs more money and appeals to a different customer in need of more performance and attitude, out of the compact car segment.
Tata Nexon
The Tata Nexon is undoubtedly one of the leading car models offered by Tata Motors, appreciated for its durability and wide range of complimentary features throughout the models. The latest Nexon with the sunroof is available on the XM(S) variant wherein they are priced at around ₹9.60 Lakh (ex-showroom), and it makes the Nexon the cheapest sub-four-metre SUV in India in which sunroof has been offered. The Nexon has more to it than other crucial features; it has a sunroof as well with an added tilt feature to it.
Kia Sonet
Hyundai family makes its way to this list yet again, with the Kia Sonet being closely related to Hyundai entering the list. A similar story goes for the Sonet where the manufacturer offers different variants with difference in the type of engine and gear box available. The HTK+ variant, which costs approximately ₹9.64 lakh (ex-showroom), is the one that offers the sunroof option at the very least and is more affordable than the Venue’s sunroof-only variant.
While earlier sunroof was a standard feature found only in luxury cars now it has become a standard comfort offering in today’s modern cars including the budget models such as Tata Altroz, Hyundai Exter, i20, Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and many more. Again, sunroof is a great comfort that provides additional natural illumination and perception of the space inside a car, but the owners should use it as a precaution.
