BMW Cars Price Hike: BMW India has informed about the new increase in the prices of all its products by up to 5 percent from January 1, 2025 across the country. This German luxury car company state that whereas the prices of locally assembled cars will increase by 3%, the price of fully imported models will also increase by the same percentage.
Price Of SUVs Car
The cars and some SUVs currently rolling off the Chennai plant include the 2 Series Gran Coupe starting at Rs 43.90 lakh, 3 Series Gran Limousine at Rs 60.60 lakh, and the M340i at Rs 74.90 lakh. Other variants in the line include the 5 Series LWB at Rs 72.9 lakh, 7 Series at Rs 1.82 crore, X1 at Rs 49.90 lakh, X3 at Rs 72.50 lakh, X5 at Rs 97 lakh, and the X7 at Rs 1.3 crore.
The imported models available include the i4 starting from Rs 72.50 lakh, i5 at Rs 1.2 crore, i7 at Rs 2.03 crore, iX1 at Rs 66.90 lakh, iX at Rs 1.40 crore, Z4 at Rs 90.90 lakh, M2 Coupe at Rs 99.90 lakh, M4 Competition at Rs 1.53 crore, M4 CS at Rs 1.89 crore, M8 at Rs 2.44 crore, XM at Rs 2.6 crore and the newly launched M5 at Rs 1.99 crore.
BMW’s latest statement arrived shortly after Mercedes-Benz, which is India’s recent decision to increase the cost starting next year. This was attributed to increase in material cost, factors that emanate from inflation, increased energy costs as well as many other weighty financial factors as why Mercedes made this decision.
