BYD Sealion 7 EV: BYD has had tremendous expansion in the Philippines this year, launching a number of new models one after the other and setting up multiple dealerships in a matter of months. The business is expected to see even more success in the coming future as its expansion picks up speed.
BYD has always been making progress in Southeast Asia. Sealion 7, the latest model, is a midsize crossover SUV, which is fully electric and it was released in Malaysia with the intention of competing with Tesla Model Y. The Sealion 7 have made it’s premier at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show in China. It’s front design is similar to the Sealion 6 and a sleek, coupe-like roofline improves the aerodynamics.
BYD Sealion 7 Exclusive Design
The BYD Sealion 7 takes design cues from the Seal, showcasing full width LED taillights, slick D-pillars, black body cladding and the option of 19 or 20 inch wheels. It’s dimensions are 4,830 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width and 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm.
The vehicle also features at Technology pact interior, including a 15.6 inch rotating touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, four zone climate control, Nappa leather and voice control features in sunroof and air conditioning.
BYD Sealion 7 With Dynamic Features
The BYD Sealion 7 is equipped with high-end features, which includes a 12 speaker Dynaudio system, 50W wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Compatibility, multiple USB ports, heated and cooled power seats and a power tailgate. It is powered by an 82.56 kWh Blade battery available in single motor or dual motor configuration.
Now the Sealion 7 has been launched in Malaysia, it’s likely just a matter of time before BYD Cars Philippines brings it to the local market.
