Ford Mustang GTD Trailer: Ford has released the new full version of the Road to the ‘Ring trailer after debuting the teaser this year. The movie captures a thrilling power tour of the company’s highest output roadgoing Mustang to the Nürburg GP racetrack in Germany.
Time Lap In Trailer
Unfortunately, the official lap time is not given in the trailer, although it remains the expectation that a timed lap around this Nürburgring will be provided along with this documentation.
Still, Road to the ‘Ring should be seen to present an idea of what goes into an automaker’s Nürburging Nordschleife lap tries, all of which should be cherished a lot more than the shrinking production car lap times.
Implications From The Trailer
In keeping with the tradition of the trailer, there are voiceovers from people involved in the Mustang GTD programme. Interestingly, there is a guest appearance by the current Ford Motor company’s CEO, Jim Farley and cousin to Chris Farley. Coming to the timing, since Ford set this trailer and the already released teaser focused more on the Mustang GTD beating the seven minute lap mark, it can nearly be taken for granted that the mission for Ford’s latest Mustang was achieved.
However, the full documentary, along with what is hopefully a successful and dry lap around the Nürburgring, will not be released until December 10.
