Grand Vitara: A new test mule that has been circulating on the web is heavily camouflaged but could be the face lifted version of the Grand Vitara. Looking at the size and proportions of the test mule one could strongly assume that it is a new version of the SUV. The current generation Grand Vitara has been on the market since September 2022 which statistically has been over two years and auto manufacturers usually do mid-life update or face lift when the vehicle being sold has been on the market for two years and above.
Redesigned Look Of New Grand Vitara
However subtle, a closer look at the test mule gives some suggestions about the redesigned look expected in the upgrade. It appears that the front bumper has received some update while still retaining the design with divided dual-LED headlights where the DRLs are at the top, and the main headlight located lower on the bumper. The architecture and design seem to be inspired by Suzuki E-Vitara under its concept unveiled in November 2024.
The wheels are slightly lowered and seem different from those on the current model; the rear part will be dominated by connected taillights. Brake lights are still placed at the extreme ends of the vehicle as in the previous generation, though it appears that this component has been worked on to give consumers a more attitude setting and edgier design.
There’s a split AC vent on the center console and a huge free-standing infotainment screen, but the interior plainly wears much newer. Set to be introduced next year, the new-gen Grand Vitara will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Until now, there hasn’t been a body detailing on the exterior and interior of the next generation’s Grand Vitara but what seems likely to occur are some touches to the exterior and interior of the model, possibly better technology and features, the same engines as used on the current model, among others.
