Hybrid Isuzu D Max: Conventional hybrid, hybrid electric powertrains and fully electric power trains feature prominently and complement each other in improving energy handling and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Mild-Hybrid Diesel Powertrain
Isuzu also unveiled a new mild hybrid diesel for the double cab pickup D-Max and the MU-X SUV, which will both be launched in Thailand on November 28 this year. The RZ4F 2.2-liter turbodiesel offers 163 PS & torque of 400 Nm, coupled with the new 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission for enhanced transmit force & lightness.
Isuzu argues that the 2.2 Ddi MaxForce difference medium-hybrid electric supply offers a quieter and finer ride. Fitted with a 48V mild-hybrid system and a variable turbine-like charger which optimizes combustion process it yields 56% better torque , at start from that of conventional DIESEL models . Combined fuel consumption is increased rather by 10 percent due to, its new 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Thus, Isuzu remained silent on the battery size or the electric motor output into the 48V mild hybrid system.
The specifics of the Isuzu D-Max and MU-X’s new mild-hybrid diesel hardware remain to be disclosed. The prices for the Isuzu MU-X diesel mild-hybrid are set as follows: It comes to THB 1,194,000 (approximately Rs 29.08 lakh) only for Singapore and Republic of Korea had earn per share of 16,664 THB.
India launch of New Isuzu Mild-Hybrid Models
Details of other markets are still uncertain however the company still has not disclosed the Isuzu D-Max and MU-X models diesel mild hybrids.
