The BE 6 (earlier called as BE 6e) and the XEV 9e are the latest vehicles to be launched by Mahindra and they have created a new record in India car industry. These vehicles especially in the premium as well as enthusiast categories have been attracting phenomenal interest in the Indian market. The XEV 9e has also entered showrooms in Chandigarh before its formal launch and opening of bookings.
To this end, it is important to note that Mahindra has only offered base price for BE 6 and XEV 9e, that are not yet fully released into the market. Stations that will use these two models are planned to start making bookings from January, 2025. Nonetheless, even before this time, the XEV 9e has been seen on the floor of a dealership showroom in Chandigarh as seen in a video on The Car Show.

Despite occupying the position of the largest SUV at Mahindra until the arrival of the XUV 500 the XEV 9e has a highly impressive design.

Dynamic Power and Range of XEV 9e
The XEV 9e stands out as the only rear-wheel-drive (RWD) vehicle in its segment to deliver such high-performance capabilities. It comes with two battery pack options, that are 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The top-tier performance of the XEV 9e reaches 285 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, all powered by a single rear-mounted motor. This setup allows the XEV 9e to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds.
Exclusive Features Present In XEV 9e
In terms of technology and features, the XEV 9e is packed with premium offerings. Its exterior boasts large LED DRLs, full LED headlights and fog lights, a striking LED full-width tail light signature, flush front door handles, up to 20-inch alloy wheels, wide tyres, a glass roof with integrated ambient lighting, and much more.
On the inside, the XEV 9e unleashes a triple-screen architecture, a first in any mass-market car in India. It also comes with an enlarged heads up display which shows important information about the car. There are specific areas of the cabin in which the plastics and upholstery materials great luxurious touch and higher class wisely. The XEV 9e model shares a similar structure design to that of a coupe but provides enough room for passengers.
More highlights are optioned like car leaving, car self-parking and Level-2 ADAS. Worcester MA is also well endowed with a massive boot space of 663L that can accommodate many types of luggage. In addition, there is a 150L frunk featured in the XEV 9e under a hydraulically assisted bonnet. The XEV 9e has a capability of 656km when fully charged and Mahindra ensures it can work for more than 500km with the Air conditioning system on.
