In the past few days there has been much more intensity in the automotive industry thanks to the launch of the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2024 models of the car manufacturing company’s successful four-door sedan. This new model is expected to be launched in early 2024 and as per the comforts of the Ciaz’s design philosophy while integrating the latest and better technical solutions.

The changes are now going to be observed close to the dashboard, and it looks like the 2024 Ciaz is going to be borrowed heavily from the 2022 Baleno and the latest Fronx. The list of surprises is headed by a new floating 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, standard in higher variants; new flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel; an ‘updated’ instrument cluster with a colored display; and, sophisticated fabric upholstery. Increased leg space and head space disprove previous complaints and well-lit cabin brings class. With the boot volume of 510 liters it is not the segment leader, yet quite enough for daily use and weekend travel.
Efficient Powertrains and Dynamic Performance
For the 2024 model, the Ciaz is still fitted with a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder petrol motor accompanied with the manufacturer’s Smart Hybrid system, producing 104 hp and 138 Nm of torque. It supersedes the previous generation K15B model; Thus the fuel efficiency is enhanced; the company claims 23.20 KmPL for manual transmission and 24.11 KmPL for automatic transmission models. For better efficiency, there is Ciaz CNG, with 30.61 km/kg mileage is claimed here for the latter.
Premium Features & More Technology Added
The release of the 2024 Ciaz has many premium features such as wireless apple car play and Android auto, Arkamys tuned 6 speaker audio system, auto climate control with rear A/C vents wireless charging of phones, cruise control, push button start/stop. It also comes equipped with the height adjustable driver seat and the ORVMs that can fold automatically, rainy sensing wipers and auto headlamps. The Alpha+ trim brings digital car connectivity features that would allow the users to manage the car’s operations remotely using a smartphone.
Providing Safety Features in 2024 Ciaz
The new version of Ciaz will have better safety features than its 2020 model, especially 6 airbags come as standard equipment for Ciaz variants Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. Higher variants also come equipped with rear parking sensors and camera, high-speed alert system and seat belt warning for all seats. Maruti Suzuki says its focus on improving the chassis has it convinced that when tested the India-spec version will attain a high safety rating but the car has not been crash tested as at the time of writing this article.
Know About The Pricing According To Variants
The 2024 Ciaz is available in five variants: Sigma Rs 9.30 lakh, Delta Rs 9.90 lakh, Zeta Rs 10.70 lakh, Alpha Rs 11.50 lakh, and Alpha+ Rs 12,850 ex-showroom, New Delhi for the five-speed manual and Rs 13,850 for the DTAT. Assembling CNG variants are available with Delta and Zeta finishes and the costs for starting at Rs 10.45 lakh.
