The German automotive giant Mercedes-Benz intends to unveil the EQS 450 SUV and the G 580 with the aid of the new EQ technology on January 9. In particular, the G 580 will be a CKD vehicle, and the Indian market will be the first outside the United States to have local assembly of the EQ SUV.
Battery Specification of Mercedes EQS 450
The EQS 450 will be the second model in the regular EQS SUV range, except for the Maybach and will comfortably accommodate five people. The two vehicles have the same 122kWh battery pack as the seven-seater EQS 580 4Matic SUV with power of 544 horsepower and torque of 858 Nm. This battery has the tag of the highest claimed cell capacity battery in any passenger EV in the country. It comes with compatibility with fast charging meaning that it can get a charge of between 10- 30percent within 31minutes using 200KW DC Charger. On the other hand, the EQA and the EQE SUV has 70.5 kWh battery package and 90.5 kWh battery pack, respectively.
The base EQS 450 SUV model does bring a number of familiar design cues, mostly pronounced by the blanked off grille with seamless integration into the lower part of the front bumper. It formulate the front ramp with LEDs headlamps linked by a bar of light. In addition to its slinky, streamlined shape, which looks almost McLaren-esque, there are other differences from the EQS 580, the design of the 21-inch alloy wheels has been changed.
Luxurious Exterior and Interior Of Mercedes EQS 450
The interior of the new EQS 450 SUV comes with individually articulated seats with premium crafted covers as a part of standard equipment; as well as with bunch of other novelties like the Energising Air Control Plus. It is anticipated to integrate the extraordinary 56-inch Hyperscreen arrangement, a 12.3 inches digital display instrument cluster, 12.3 inch front control crystal keypad, and 17.7 inch center channel touch interface panel entertainment system.
Other optional facilities will include two 11.6 inches of rear seat entertainment, Burmester five speaker sound, 360 degree camera, 5-zone climate control air conditioning, soft closing doors, boot open lamps, and matrix illuminated running boards. On the safety aspect, the car is expected to come equipped with Level 2 ADAS, nine airbags and a list of features that are expected to add to the safety of the SUV.
Price of Mercedes EQS 450
Mercedes-Benz has kept the essence of the EQS 450 with clients who want extra cabin space, especially those who are driven around. Apparently, new MLA has its pricing positioning expected to fall between Rs 1.59 crore EQE SUV and Rs 1.61 crore EQS SUV (on-road, Mumbai).
