New Baleno CNG Model: New generation auto makers Maruti Suzuki is now planning to launch a CNG model in the Baleno series in India. This model which is to be called Baleno Alpha CNG 1.2L 5MT is expected to have its prices unstitched the coming week.
Variants of New Baleno CNG
The Baleno CNG is currently offered in two variants, that are Delta and Zeta. Both models feature the BOSS 1.2-litre, four cylinders naturally aspirated petrol engine that offers 88bhp and 113Nm. The output power is slightly lower with 76bhp@ 6000rpm in the CNG mode and 98Nm@ 4200 rpm in case of torque. What is more the only transmission available in the car is the rather old school five speed manual transmission.
Exclusive Features Of New Baleno CNG
The new Baleno CNG variant should come with Zeta plus features such as UV cut glass, diamond cut alloy wheels, Head Up Display, Cruise Control, Auto Dimming Inner Rear View Mirror, Auto Folding Outside Rear View Mirror, Nine inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system, Leather wrapped steering wheel, 360 degree camera.
Lavish options such as head up display, 360-degree camera and auto-folding mirrors are integrated to deliver the best driving experience the company expects for the CNG model will not come at a compromise of efficiency and cost. Pricing details are still awaited and are likely to fuel more enthusiasm about the Baleno’s expanding CNG portfolio in India.
