New Kia Seltos: With an all-new exterior and interior design, a fresh transverse engine platform and improved connectivity, the new Minds of Kia Seltos, known only until now by the code name SP3 Proto, has just been caught for the first time on the roads of India. This highly anticipated car which is expect to be first released in the international market is expected to step up the company’s market portfolio in India by the second half of the year 2025.
The current Seltos has been a segment leader since its inception when it was launched in early 2019, and the new model will beef up the model by enhancing it with the new features, Hybrid powertrains, and new looks.
Updated Design and Style of 2025 Seltos
The spy shots of the 2025 Kia Seltos shared by Power Stroke PS show obvious redesigns but retain the SUV- like look. Based on the brand’s electrified vehicle line-up, the revamped vehicle underlines its refreshed bumpers, a contemporary grille, and thinly disguised all-electric hatchback-like tail lamps that are borrowed from the EV5 and a mix of ICE and EV. The 2021 model gets new alloy wheels and muscles up the boring front grille design without compromising the truck’s rugged look.
Revamped Interior of 2025 Seltos
Inside, the next-gen Kia Seltos is expected to have a total overhaul when it comes to interior. Mischievous spy photos hint at design elements inherited from the Kia EV3, such as two-tone seats and pumpkin-colored inserts, doors with new adjustments and headrests. Presumably, diffuse light will contribute to making the interior of the car even more attractive.
Despite the works on the bonnet and interior, the dashboard and cockpit still look concealed but leaks indicate that the model will have dual layer dashboard with carbon-trimmed and LED configured ambient lighting. Also there is important changes which may be a glossy two spoke steering as an exchange of present three spokes one for more modern looking.
Hybrid Option Powertrain Presented in 2025 Seltos
The new generation Kia Seltos will continue its lineup with a hybrid model possibly incorporating an accelerator of 1.6, delivering 141 horsepower based on the Hyundai Kona Hybrid design. Other variants could be brought to the international markets as e-AWD or the India specific variants could be still under rumor. Popular in accordance with green concerns, the hybrid will introduce higher productivity and efficiency.
The Seltos has been a segment leader with 6 lakh plus units sold in India; the car stands out with a novel, innovative design, features and advanced technology. The shift in the new model will therefore entail petrol, diesel and hybrid power outputs with a future all-electric model integrating Kia’s concern for sustainability. With increasing competition, the Seltos is set up to continue to rule the C-SUV segment.
