Nissan Magnite Sales: The auto manufacturer Nissan Motor India has achieved a good sales achievements which the company’s total sales crossing 5,00,000 in the Domestic Market. On a cumulative basis, the company has been able to sell 5,13,241 motor vehicles from 2010 up to date across the country. Wholesale dispatches in November 2024 was recorded to be at 9400 units and the Nissan Magnite SUV continues to be the model in demand. In the same month, the total sales within the domestic market stood at 2,342 units; exports stood at 6,698 units.
Significant Export Growth
Total consolidated wholesale volumes of November 2024 compared with October 2024 presented an astonishing MoM growth of 62%, from 5,570 to 9,040, which can be attributed to a higher number of export shipments. Export analysis shows YoY growth in November 2024 stood at 222% to 2,081 units in November 2023 and a MoM surge of a 173.5% increase from 2,449 units exported in October 2024.
Milestone Achievement of Nissan Magnite
According to Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, the achievement of 5 lakh domestic sales is considered as a point of pride for the firm. He underscored the fact that this outstanding achievement has been made through improvement in customer confidence in the Nissan brand, quality, reliability and performance of Nissan cars for many years. Some assurance regarding continuation of operation in India was made to dealers, partners as well as customers. There was also mentioned that the company’s plans which were declared in the first half of the current year with the appearing of the Nissan X-TRAIL and the New Nissan Magnite are being consistently implemented.
Since the Nissan Magnite launched in India, the model revised has been among the brand’s top-selling cars frequently. Priced from ₹ 6 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV is being offered alongside the X-Trail. It offers elements such as sunroof, digital cluster screen wireless charging option, 16-inch alloy wheels and other options.
Turbocharged Engine Variant
In terms of power, then global specification Nissan Magnite is fitted with a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated three Cylinders engine that will develop 71Hp power and 96Nm torque. Also, the car manufacturer has fitted 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which is capable to deliver power of 98 bhp and torque of 160 Nm. Both the engines are in fact similar and can be used with 5 sped manual gear box or 5 sped AMT automatic.
