Upgraded Kia Syros: Kia is to release the Syros on the 19th of this month and will be available in two power trains- 1.0L turbocharged petrol and 1.5L diesel. Sitting in the sub-4-meter SUV category, the Syros will outsize the Sonet. In previews teasers before the reveal of new models, the company has revealed some of the features that exist in this automated SUV; one of them being a panoramic sunroof, thus making it the third SUV in this segment to offer this innovation.
Premium Features Added in Kia Syros
In addition, the Syros will integrate the 360-camera, the dual climate zone, as well as the drives and terrains. As for safety aspect, standard one should include such things as six airbags, ADAS and so on. As is established because it is exclusive of the Sonet, these additional features serve to reinforce its more up-market orientation.
Packed with an image of Syros as a tall-boy, Kia plans to position it as a more spacious SUV, which targets the soft underbelly of most sub-4-meter SUVs: lack of rear-seat comfort. It could be expected that such design solution will offer more interior space, and the possibility to equip the rear seats with reclining functions is an important bonus in this segment.
Comfort Interior in Kia Syros
The Syros could even have more interior space than even the new Seltos, due to its tall boy<Wagon R-like shape. Also, it means that a more flat floor might be easier for three passengers at the rear. Nevertheless there is doubt as to whether Kia will incorporate three rear headrests. While the first Indian delivery of Syros is set for the 19th this month, the starting price of the car is likely to be above ₹10 lakh.
