The Tera will be initially launched in Brazil, other large markets such as India would follow. Other Latin American countries including Argentina are expected to get the Tera at a later time in 2025. Manufacturing will take place in Volkswagen’s plant in Taubate, São Paulo in Brazil.

Powertrain Of Volkswagen Tera
The new Volkswagen Tera the customers will get the 1.0 litre TSI engine including 115 PS and 178 Nm torque. The change of shift will comprise of a 6 even as manual transmission gear and, 6 as an automatic transmission gear shift will also be used. This powertrain is today available on our stores in India.
However, models like the Nivus and T-Cross in Brazil feature a higher-tuned version of this engine, producing 128 hp.
