New Renault Duster: Renault, the French automaker, has globally disclosed it’s next-generation Duster. Currently the company has demonstrated the Right-Hand-Drive (RHD) version in South Africa. This marks the first appearance of the Duster in it’s RHD configuration. It s all set to be launched in the South African market by March 2025. Additionally, the RHD Duster is awaited to be produced in India, with the plans for an export to other international markets.
The launch of Renault Duster is expected with the starting price of Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). The RHD version retains the same exterior design, interior features and technology with the primary modification which has been the placement of the steering wheel
Renault Duster with Exclusive Design
The design of this next-gen Renault Duster is completely new and having no similarities with the previous model. It is inspired by the Bigster concept, in which this SUV showcases a contemporary LED headlight arrangement featuring Y-Shaped LED daytime running lights. The front is delimit by prominent air intakes on both sides, along with fog lamps situated below. A robust bonnet with striking lines and scoops enhances it’s assertive appearance, while the front grille is adorned with chrome details for a touch of polished.
The Side Sight of Renault Duster
The side profile of the upcoming Duster reveals a fresh design, characterized by angular wheel arches, roof rails and a sleek dual-tone alloy wheels. The body cladding extends along the SUV’s length, emphasized it’s rugged appeal. At the back, this car boasts eye-catching V-shaped LED taillights with a distinctive Y-shaped signature, a rear skid plate for enhanced durability and an integrated roof spoiler.
Redesigned Interior of Duster
Duster’s interior is completely redesigned dashboard with bold and unique elements. This SUV is furnished with a 7.0-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It reflects the exterior design of the car. The AC vents feature Y-shaped inserts, giving the interior a rugged yet modern vibe.
It’s main features are Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, an Arkamys 3D sound system and many more are included. It’s safety feature includes ADAS with automatic emergency braking, multi-object detection, traffic sign recognition, speed alerts and lane charging warning.
Duster with Engine Options
The latest Renault Duster is presented with 3 engines choices, which are a 1.2L turbo-petrol mild hybrid, a 1.0L turbo bi-fuel option and a 1.6L strong hybrid that includes two electric motors and a 1.2 kWh battery. It is equipped with 4×4 Terrain Control featuring five modes i.e., Auto, Snow, Mud/Sand, Off-road and Eco.
