Updated Maruti Dzire Launched: The highly anticipated fourth-generation model of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire sedan was launched in India on Monday. It has ranked as the fourth best-selling model in India so far.The starting price for this model in the Indian market is set at ₹6.79 lakh.
Maruti offers the new Dzire in 4 main variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi Plus. It comes with options for both petrol and CNG powertrains. Here’s a look at what’s new in its latest version.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire Modish Look
Talking about its look and design of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, its exterior features an all-new design and styling elements, making it different from the Swift hatchback for the first time. The front features new, sleek rectangular LED headlamps, an updated bumper, and a new grille with a chrome strip and Suzuki logo. It also features a new shark-fin antenna, while the Dzire maintains its dimensions and comes equipped with updated 15-inch alloy wheels.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire New Look
The updated Maruti Suzuki Dzire’s interior features a refreshed design with a dual-tone black and beige theme. The dashboard includes Swift-like features, while the premium variant offers leather upholstery and a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For the first time, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire offers a factory-fitted sunroof, rear armrest with cup holders, dual charging ports, a wireless charger and a 360-degree camera. Notable enhancements consist of automatic climate control, an Arkamys sound system, auto-folding outside rearview mirrors, a rear defogger, and a Type-C charging port. New features like cruise control, rear AC vents and a 360-degree camera are available in higher trims.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire Engine Power
The 2024 Dzire features Maruti’s Z-series 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 82 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox, with a CNG option available in the VXi and ZXi variants, paired with a manual gearbox. The updated roof design has also improved the Dzire’s aerodynamics, offering a claimed mileage of 24.79 km/l for the manual variant and 25.71 km/l for the AMT variant.
Please note that these prices are valid only until the end of 2024. Maruti is also offering the Dzire through a subscription plan, starting at ₹18,248 per month. The subscription includes registration, maintenance, insurance, and roadside assistance.
