Mahindra has adopted a bold and striking design approach for the BE 6e and XEV 9e. The BE 6e stands out with its distinctive C-shaped LED DRLs, pod-like LED headlights and an aerodynamically sculpted clamshell bonnet that display a sports car-like vibe.
Mahindra’s Glossy Side Stare
From the side, the SUV showcases a muscular stance, accentuated by a high shoulder line and prominent, square-shaped wheel arches finished in glossy black. The side profile is further enhanced by detailed character lines. However, the teaser video does not reveal the rear design.
Mahindra With A Timeless Aspect
The XEV 9e showcases a timeless SUV aesthetic, featuring a flat, squared-off enclosed grille and connected L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Its uniquely designed cube-shaped, vertically stacked headlights add a distinctive flair, while the flowing creases on the hood contribute to its dynamic appearance.
Both the BE 6e and XEV 9e present a robust side profile, accentuated by bold square wheel arches and sleek, blacked-out window sills. A video teaser provides a sneak peek of the XEV 9e’s rear, highlighting the connected LED taillights, the Mahindra Electric logo, and the XEV 9e badge.
Mahindra XEV 9e & BE 6e Expected Range
The Mahindra XEV 9e is being developed on the innovative INGLO platform. Reports suggest that it could be equipped with a 60kWh battery pack, providing an estimated range of around 500 kilometers on a single charge. Likewise, the Mahindra BE 6e is anticipated to feature the same battery pack and range. However, the company has yet to disclose any official information about the battery specifications or range.
