3 New Tata Electric SUV: Currently, there has been a gradual increase in the number of electric vehicles produced by Tata Motors both within the Indian market and globally and the company has laid out its plans well into the future to increase this amount. As a plan of this strategy, the company is expected to release many all-electric models in 2025 with a focus on electric SUVs because they are popular in the market. Here are three electric SUVs from Tata Motors that are scheduled to launch in 2025:
Tata Harrier EV
That, the electric model of the Tata Harrier is to be produced by March 2025. Basing on Tata’s newly developed Acti.EV architecture, the Harrier EV will retain the design of the ICE Harrier but changes the EV-specific grille, redesigned bumpers, and new wheels with low rolling resistance tires. As for the interior of this car, it is expected to offer ample room as well as comfort, coupled with enhanced features peculiar to this generation; in addition to the competitive power train. Isolated from the show car, Tata Motors had unveiled a production hint of the Harrier EV during the recently concluded Bharat Mobility Expo 2024.
The Tata Harrier EV is expected to come with a performance 75 kWh battery, which should ensure a range of over 500 km in a full charge along with V2L utility. A 10.25-inch infotainment system, along with Level 2 ADAS, auto climate control, full digital gauge cluster, touch-sensitive climate, and controls and two-pin steering with a logo.
We estimate that while the company plans to launch the Harrier EV, it would be close to a 30 Lakh. It also rightly expect this pricing will allow it to go up well against the BYD eMAX 7, in addition to the Oneworld upcoming Creta and Carens EV models.
Tata Safari EV
Connected LED daytime running lights, updated 19-inch alloy wheels and LED taillights are some of the features that Tata Motors intends to avail with the new Safari EV version by the end of the next year. Fig.1 Located inside, it will copy the ICE model and will be equipped with enhanced options like the four-spoke steering, the 12.3 infotainment with climate control, a 10.25-digital display with ventilated seats, JBL sound system, rear shades, touchless gesture tailgate, and a panoramic sunroof.
To be integrated into the future Safari EV are V2L and V2V capabilities, ADAS, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESC. They expect it will have up to a 60 kWh battery that will offer up to 500 km of range, likely drawing from the Harrier EV.
Tata Sierra EV
Tata has unveiled the nearest version of Sierra EV to production and has set its roll-out launch for next year, revival of a popular brand name. This is an electric concept SUV equipped with a futuristic look on the full-width LED daytime running light, carefully sculpted creases, ferocious LED headlight, muscular front bumper, illuminated Tata logo, and a 5 doors. In addition, design features that refer to the original glass-top will be present, there will be the box type at the rear end of the car and the tail lights will be incorporated.
The Sierra EV’s interior will be clean and minimalistic, featuring two displays, touch-sensitive climate controls, as well as panels borrowed from other Tata SUVs. They are also expected to use their powertrain in the Harrier and Safari EVs and should be able to travel between 500-550 km in one charge.
