Audi Q7 Facelift: Audi India has now unveiled the new Audi Q7 facelift for the Indian market and carries the introductory price tag of ₹ 88,66,000 (ex-showroom). The refreshed Q7 is offered in two trim levels – the Premium Plus and Technology and one gasoline engine choice only. Customers can place their orders from the current model now through Audi’s website, the myAudi Connect app, or by visiting an Audi showroom. The number of bookings for the product has been fixed at ₹2 lakh.
Upgradation in Audi Q7
The second generation Audi Q7 received its second facelift in 2017 in India and brings handsome changes to the exterior as well as interior but without any change in mechanicals. These are a newly developed FF grille with a hexagonal grid and the Audi 2D logo, new OLED LED headlights of the Q6 e-tron with four approaches and OLED rear lamps with the analogous level of customizable options. It’s functional air intakes with piano black inserts for the SUV and new bonnet power bulge.
Inside also remains similar to before but has made miniscule upgrades such as contrast stitched grey leather with new options in Cedar Brown and Saiga beige. Infotainment system now stream apps such as Spotify and Amazon Music; update virtual cockpit comes with a lane-change warning system.
Distinctive Features in Audi Q7
There are features like the infotainment touch screen measuring 10.1-inch, the climate control touch screen measuring 8.6-inch, the virtual cockpit, Android auto, Apple Carplay, the sun roof measures 1200 mm and the four-zone climate control. Options include the illumination, the B&O 3D Premium Sound system, the massaging and heating front seats and the separately folding 3rd row of seats. Other features of safety have to do with the Park Assist Plus, an option of 360° camera, cruise control, eight airbags, the Lane Departure warning and ESC.
Dynamic Power of Audi Q7
The Q7 goes on with the 3.0-litre turbo charged V6 petrol generating 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque which comes with eight speed auto transmission and Audi quattro all wheel drive. Also, adding to this; there are seven drive modes, auto comfort, dynamic efficiency, off-road, all-road, and individual. What the new mild-hybrid technology of 48 volts does is that the engine power can be shut off when the car is moving but not accelerating or decelerating and for half a minute.
Audi provided a specific output of 0-100 kph for 5.9 sec and the maximum speed for Sprinter 250 kph. The Q7 is offered in five choices of hues with choices of Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey and Glacier White.
